HI, I'M SHANNON

I'm a Product Manager and Non-Profit leader in Seattle, WA. I'm passionate about renewable energy, waste reduction and building community.

I am currently a Product Manager at SunPower, working on residential energy storage systems. Previously, I was a Technical Product Manager at Doosan GridTech, delivering Front of the Meter  technology solutions for large scale energy storage systems.

In 2020, I made a big career change. I left a role as a Product Manager specializing in emerging display technologies like AR/VR, to find a role working in Climate. I'm sharing this journey at the Women in Product 2021 Conference and love to connect with others looking to make this jump.

Outside of work, I love bringing people together and forming community. In 2015 founded a music festival inspired by Doe Bay Fest on Orcas Island. I also serve on 2 non-profit boards and in May 2021 I also joined the Steering Committee of the Women in Product Seattle Chapter.

My passion for sustainability began In 2013 I moved home to Seattle and joined the NE Seattle Tool Library. where I still volunteer and help run today. In fact, there are Tool Libraries all over, maybe even in your city.
